Q: Why does the 2440 cost more than a basic vibration plate?

2440 uses an all-metal platform rather than a molded plastic housing. It provides a flat 24 × 40 in training surface, vertical vibration, an external analog controller and a weight capacity of up to 2,400 lb. It is manufactured in Nebraska and includes separate residential and commercial warranty coverage. You are paying for usable training space, straightforward control, substantial construction and long-term support rather than screens, remote controls or preset programs.

Q: What is the difference between the Steel and Aluminum versions?

The Steel and Aluminum versions provide the same 24 × 40 in surface, vertical vibration, 10–60 Hz frequency range, 2 mm amplitude and variable-speed controller. The Steel model weighs 155 lb, while the Aluminum model weighs 75 lb. Choose based on where the machine will live and how frequently you expect to move it.

Q: What physical goals can the 2440 support?

You can use the platform within active strength, balance, mobility, movement-preparation and recovery-oriented routines. Whole body vibration can add a muscular and postural stimulus, but results depend on the exercises selected, speed, session design, consistency and individual circumstances.

Q: Does the 2440 oscillate from side to side?

No. 2440 uses vertical, or linear, vibration and moves straight up and down rather than pivoting from side to side. It operates from 10 to 60 Hz with 2 mm amplitude and maximum acceleration under 2G. You adjust the speed with the external analog controller.

Q: How much space does it need, and will it shake my floor?

The platform measures 24 × 40 in. Leave additional clearance for stepping on and off and for the movements in your routine. Some vibration transfer can occur depending on speed, flooring and room construction, so use a stable, flat and level surface. If you notice unwanted movement or vibration transfer, stop and reassess the location before continuing.

Q: What comes with the machine, and does it require assembly?

Your order includes the 2440 platform and variable-speed controller. The machine arrives fully assembled. Once it is safely positioned, connect the controller and plug it into a standard 110V outlet on a suitable 15A circuit.

Q: Can I use the 2440 at home or in a professional facility?

The 2440 is intended for residential and commercial use. Residential use includes a limited lifetime warranty, while commercial use includes a five-year limited warranty. Eligibility, exclusions and claim requirements remain subject to the written warranty terms.

Q: Should I speak with my doctor before using a whole body vibration machine?

The 2440 arrives fully assembled. Position it on a stable, flat and level surface, connect the variable-speed controller and plug the machine into a standard 110V outlet on a suitable 15A circuit. Before ordering, measure doorways, stairs, hallways and tight turns along the intended access route.

Accessories or additional items may ship separately. Inspect the packaging and machine when they arrive. Photograph any visible damage before removing the packaging and contact us promptly so we can help document and resolve the issue.

That additional space matters when the objective is muscle activation, balance, mobility or movement preparation rather than passive standing alone. The 10–60 Hz range lets you adjust the stimulus with a simple external dial.

Choose 155 lb Steel for a dedicated location or 75 lb Aluminum when the platform may need to be repositioned. Both versions share the same movement, dimensions and performance specifications.
