Traditional heat. The Sundsvall uses a 6.0 kW stove with built in controls, plus sandglass, bucket and scoop for the classic water over stones ritual.

Plan for 240V / 30A service for the stove and 120V / 15A service for the controls, lights and music. We recommend consulting a certified electrician before delivery.

Canadian Red Cedar is used inside the hot room. Pacific Premium Clear Cedar with clear stain is used on the exterior.

After each session, wipe the benches and backrests with a damp cloth to remove sweat. Removable benches are helpful because they make it easier to deep clean the lower area, where skin particles and moisture can build up.

For deeper cleaning, use only diluted white vinegar and water or cleaners specifically approved for sauna wood. Avoid bleach, ammonia, or solvents, as the wood may absorb them and release unwanted fumes when heated.

After use, remove damp towels and leave the door slightly open for about 30 minutes. Mechanical ventilation or an exhaust fan should continue running so the cabin can dry fully and reduce the risk of mold, especially in indoor installations.

Inspect the sauna stones annually. Over time, stones can erode and block airflow, which may overheat the heating elements and reduce efficiency.
