Saunas ship by LTL freight on a pallet, curbside only. The driver lowers it at your curb, driveway or garage entrance and does not carry it inside. If you have stairs, a basement or an apartment, ask us about inside delivery and installation assistance for an additional cost call or email us and we’ll tell you what’s available for your address.
If there’s damage: note it on the delivery receipt (for example, “Damaged – subject to inspection”), take photos of the pallet and the damage, and contact us within 48 hours so we can help with next steps.
Do I need an electrician?
Most of our cabins run on a standard household outlet. Each product page states the exact voltage, amperage and plug type in its specifications table. If a model needs a dedicated circuit, we say so before you buy, not after.
Will it fit through my door and in my room?
Every product page lists the exact carton dimensions and the assembled footprint. Measure your doorways, hallway turns and stairwell before ordering, and check the footprint against the spot where you plan to put it, leave a few extra inches on the door side so it opens fully. It takes five minutes and it’s the single most common reason a delivery, or a return, goes wrong. Call us and we’ll walk through it with you.
What does the warranty cover?
Warranty terms differ by cabin, heaters and electronics, and each product page states all three separately along with the term length. Coverage is handled by us directly, in the US. If something fails, you call a person, not a form.

Bronze glass and lighting around the outside of the cabin: it reads as a piece of furniture from across the room instead of a wooden box with someone in it.
An unlit wooden cabin in a finished basement looks like a wardrobe. That is the honest reason a lot of these end up in the spare room with the door closed, and it has nothing to do with how well they work.
The Toulouse is lit from the outside. Accent lighting runs around the exterior, and the door is bronze tinted rather than clear, so from across the room you see a lit object rather than a lit box with a person inside it. That combination is what puts it in a den or a converted garage instead of somewhere you hide it.
Seventeen hundred and fifty watts across six carbon panels, with a heated floor underneath. That is more power than any two person Dynamic cabin, on the same dedicated 15 amp line.
Fifty by forty eight inches on your floor, with 45 by 37 inches of usable interior. It weighs 250 lb assembled and arrives in two boxes.
FM radio as well as Bluetooth and MP3, so whatever you listen to is already supported.
Lit from the outside
Accent lighting around the exterior of the cabin, plus oversize chromotherapy inside.
It is the difference between putting the sauna where there is space and putting it where you want to spend time. A lit cabin reads as furniture; an unlit one reads as storage.
Bronze tinted glass
Tempered glass in a bronze tint across the door.
The tint cuts what can be seen from outside without making the cabin dark inside. You still see out from the bench and daylight still comes in.
1750 watts on a 15 amp line
The Toulouse runs on a dedicated 120V 15 amp circuit with its own breaker.
Fifteen amps is the rating most American homes already use in living areas, so an electrician runs the dedicated line in a short visit. Getting 1750 watts onto that circuit is more than any two person Dynamic model manages.
The panels start warming you the moment you switch them on, so a session can begin well before the cabin is at its peak. Full temperature, 140°F, arrives in thirty to forty five minutes.
What Low EMF means here
8 mG or less measured 6 to 8 inches from the panels.
Six to eight inches is roughly where your back sits from the panel behind you. A figure without a distance beside it does not tell you anything. If you want your own reading, the meter Golden Designs points people to is the Trifield TF2.

Four feet of wall. The extra 5.9 inches on the depth is the roof edge, so plan for forty eight rather than forty two. At six foot three it clears a seven foot basement ceiling.
It weighs 250 lb assembled and arrives in two boxes totalling 330 lb. Assembly is straightforward, about an hour, with two people recommended.

What arrives, and when
It leaves the warehouse within two business days and travels by freight on a pallet, in a semi or a box truck depending on your route. The carrier calls 24 to 48 hours ahead to agree a four hour delivery window, and the driver brings it to your curb or the end of your driveway.
Take a minute with the boxes before you sign. If there is any damage, note it on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us within 48 hours.

Questions people ask before ordering
What is the difference between this and the Seattle?
Three things. The Toulouse has bronze tinted glass rather than clear, accent lighting around the outside, and FM radio as well as Bluetooth. Same 1750 watts, same 15 amp circuit, and this one is two inches wider inside.
Can you see into it from outside?
Not clearly. The bronze tint means the cabin reads as a dark panel from outside while you still see out from the bench and daylight still comes in.
What is the exterior accent lighting for?
Lighting built into the outside of the cabin. It is why this model works in a room people spend time in rather than a spare room with the door shut.
Will two adults really fit?
Yes. The interior is 45 by 37 inches and the bench seats two side by side with room at the shoulders.
Do I need an electrician?
We would recommend having one run a dedicated 15 amp line before your delivery date. Fifteen amps is the standard most homes already use, so it is a short visit. Send us a photo of your breaker panel and we will tell you exactly what you need.
Can I use an extension cord?
No. It needs to plug directly into its own dedicated receptacle.
How long does it take to heat up?
The panels begin warming you the moment they are switched on, so you do not have to wait for the peak to start a session. Full temperature, 140°F, arrives in thirty to forty five minutes.
Can it go on carpet?
Yes. Carpet, tile, hardwood or concrete all work.
How long does assembly take?
It is straightforward, around an hour. The panels clasp together and need nothing beyond a screwdriver. We recommend two people for the lifting, and it arrives in two boxes. If you would rather have someone build it for you, national assembly companies cover most of the country and you can get a price for your ZIP before you order.

What is the warranty?
Five years on the heating elements and electronics, one year on the wood structure, residential use. Indoor use only. Fine surface cracks in the wood are normal and are not a defect.

Who should not use an infrared sauna?
Do not use an infrared sauna if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, have multiple sclerosis, or have unstable angina, a recent heart attack, severe aortic stenosis, uncontrolled hypertension or an active fever. Speak to your physician first if you have any cardiovascular condition, controlled hypertension, diabetes, a condition affecting thermoregulation, or if you are over 65 or taking medication that affects heat tolerance.
Remove all transdermal medication patches before every session. Heat can increase how much medication the skin absorbs by 2 to 5 times the normal dose — the FDA has issued specific warnings about this for fentanyl patches, so treat it as a serious step, not a formality.

Care & maintenance
How do I clean and maintain it?
Wipe the bench, backrest and walls with a cloth and warm water after every session. Once a week, use a 1:1 white vinegar and water solution. Never use bleach, ammonia or solvent cleaners they damage the wood and the heating panels. Leave the door open for 30 minutes after each session so moisture escapes, and hang towels outside the cabin rather than leaving them on the bench. Do those two things and odour is a non-issue.
